About Me
I’m Jared Woodruff, an ISA Certified Arborist® with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and years of direct experience in municipal urban forestry and natural resources management working for the City of Germantown, Tn. I founded Woodruff Urban Forestry to help communities, property owners, and organizations make informed, sustainable decisions about their trees.
My work blends science-based expertise with a passion for preserving and enhancing our urban canopy. From tree inventories and risk assessments to planting guidance and management plans, my goal is to provide practical solutions that keep trees healthy, safe, and beneficial, today and for generations to come.
Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I serve clients throughout the surrounding region, including homeowners, HOAs, developers, contractors, and municipalities. Whether you need a second opinion, help navigating permitting requirements, or a long-term strategy for your trees, I’m here to help.
